Passion for Excellence

I grew up as a car mechanic in Germany. Eventually I decided move on and studied Electrical Engineering.

In 2007 I moved to California and worked on the first self-driving car for Google and Volkswagen Research at Stanford University. The project turned into what is now called Waymo.

Then the iPhone came out and I figured it would make sense to jump into mobile technology. In hindsight not a bad choice.

I co-founded Mobile Jazz and Bugfender. As of today I'm mostly responsible for Investments and Partnerships at Zemantics Ventures.

Most of my free time I dedicate to surfing, paragliding, sailing, kitesurfing, skiing, mountain biking and practicing yoga.

I really enjoy a rainy day, with a good book and a cup of hot tea.

I love exploring life and achieving excellence in what I do. You can follow my adventures on Instagram. You can also connect with me on LinkedIn.
